Bailey03, I've admired this figure for years, but always been shy of getting one as there's an awful load of work involved in him. However seeing you work in this one you're making me a Moth to a Candle, ...no fair.
The swords were a bit tricky and I'm still working on them. For whatever reason I find the white metals far more difficult than the yellow metals. The blends seem a lot more finicky. They'll look fine then I'll tilt it to change the light and the transitions will be obvious. I'd like to get more light-dark variation especially on the right sword but I think I'll need to switch over to some glazes and inks to get there.
Yeah, it needs a little more, but i like how it mirrors all the circular shapes on the mini. Like the stone in the crown, the ring at the chest and the semi circle at the abdomen. Pictogram is a good idea or maybe mimc the piece at the abdomen: not a full circle, so more like a sunrise/sunset with crossed swords coming out of it.Like the dragon banner but I'm not so sure about the other one. Maybe it's too simple compared with the rest of the mini... but I really don't have any other suggestion, so I might just shut up.
