Well, we did spend 9 months working on the project. But, to be totally honest, I think the basing could be better.

2 words: hot sling - hands free baby time and you can use her little forehead as a wet palette. Not that I have ever done such a thing with my own spawn

I have found that if you tell your wife, "Don't worry honey, you have had it tough all week, why don't go out with your friends and I will stay home with the baby during nap time." You can usually get a couple of good painting hours and make your wife think you are saint at the same time

I found that painting time wasn't a problem until they started crawling...then it was finished for quite awhile. BUT you will probably be so tired you won't feel like painting.
