Well, we did spend 9 months working on the project. But, to be totally honest, I think the basing could be better.

Congratulations, David! As far as I know, babies do need a lot of sitting-with, so maybe you just move the old workbench into the nursery? Well done.

2 words: hot sling - hands free baby time and you can use her little forehead as a wet palette. Not that I have ever done such a thing with my own spawn o_O

Congrats buddy! So happy for you guys.

I have found that if you tell your wife, "Don't worry honey, you have had it tough all week, why don't go out with your friends and I will stay home with the baby during nap time." You can usually get a couple of good painting hours and make your wife think you are saint at the same time ;)

Congrats David. Colette is a cutie. Best wishes to you and your growing family. Enjoy the new experiences.

I found that painting time wasn't a problem until they started crawling...then it was finished for quite awhile. BUT you will probably be so tired you won't feel like painting.

You are very sneaky....I approve.

Congratulations on your new adventure! This articulated miniature will grow so I would not try to paint anything on her.... LOL
Time goes by so fast.... and now you'll have a lively proof of it. Make profit of every minute you can with her ;)
