Banner complaint

i dont know where else to put this so i put it here.

some of the ad banners lately have annoyed me somewhat, mainly the ones with the semi clothed ladies, i find these a little inappropriate for a site with no age limits.

but the one that really set me off is the one selling WoW gold. firstly this is illegal, secondly as a WoW player, being spammed constantly with people trying to sell me WoW gold, i find it really annoying that one of my favourite sites is now spamming me with WoW gold sellers.

can some one please let me know where to direct this complaint properly.

I find those banners irritating too. I\'m sure that if I was interested in \"intimate dating\", I could think of better places to find it than a mini painting site!

Yes, this site does get a lot less annoying once you pay for it It\'s like... WinZip lol

Hey I started a thread the other day just about the same sort of thing but they took it straight to the gutter so I deleted it .. lol

but yeah $12.00 a year makes them all go away..

Personally, I would pay double what we\'re paying now to have the image ads removed from all pages, whether you\'re logged in or not. I would even buy multiple paypal subscriptions. The text ads are okay.

It could be like a pledge drive. Once we get to 1000 subscribers (or whatever the magic number is) the ads go away for everyone.

This is a site well worth paying for but some folk do have a point. The ad contents may put off potential subscribers since they might not know that once you subscribe it all goes away.... Maybe this should be stated more clearly.....just for all of the lazy ones. Infact i only found out that i could get rid of the ads by reading on the forums but i guess I\'m one of the lazy ones. My 2 pence

Well I don\'t get them since I\'m a suscriber. But still, I can understand the anoyance of having certain type of adds poping up all the time.

And I like hakomike\'s idea, considering this place is non profit, there should be a point where adds are no longer necessary.

Not a bad idea though, better then having half naked ladies thrown in your face if you don\'t want them there ( wow, I\'m saying I don\'t want naked ladies in my face :drunk: )

Ive paid from day one, have no problem with paying. but I don\'t like the idea of some people paying and then the adds go away for the rest..or your juist going to get people to say why should I pay when others will and then Ill get it for free.. that dog just aint gonna hunt.

You want no adds, fork over $11.00. Most will spend more than that on coffee or soda in a week.

Us moderators live like KINGS! We have people that carry us to the computer to do the mod work....and then carry us back to our golden lined couches.
