Banner complaint

Just the other night my wife tried to convince me buying beer was a luxury,
I said \"Just like you buying make up etc.\"

\"No,\" she replied \"that\'s to make me look beautiful for you\"

I said \"That\'s why I buy beer\"

I don\'t think she\'s coming back



Seriously though if you are scrimping and saving money to play WoW instead of spending it on your kids you are a few sandwiches short of a picnic IMO. I spend some money each month on figs / PC games etc. but it is at the end of the month after I have taken care of my two kids etc.

PS - I do support the sentiment of this thread.

I play WOW (too much if I\'m honest) and for me it\'s definitely a luxury, both in time and money! If I had kids then WOW would disappear off the radar, or I would only be able to play between the hours of 10pm and 6am!

As far as I am concerned all hobbies are a luxury, which is why I can usually only afford to do one at a time. At the moment I play WOW, hence why I\'m not doing much painting - don\'t get me wrong, I have enough lead at home to sink a battleship, but in this instance, time is the luxury element. It\'s certainly hard to paint whilst battling the Alliance pansys lol

You\'d be surprised at how predominant this line of thinking is.
In the aftermath of Katrina, when the government was handing out the $2000 ATM cards, my wife was working part time at Wal-mart and saw thousands of dollars of government money meant to help people survive, being spent on Playstations, HD TV\'s and whatnot.
It seems to be mainly those people living on governmental assistance, conditioned to getting free money, and they seem to think they are owed it.

My only complain about the banners is that they don\'t contain any fully naked women! And if they say \'their just 2 miles away from you\' and I go looking I can\'t find them!

well i feel it\'s similar to the floods just recently, goverment is paying out to people that had no contents insurance. most say they can\'t afford it but i bet the majority have sky and plasma screens
