I googled your Faye Reagan. I raise you one Bianca Beauchamp! :rotfl:

just had to google both of them. faye anyday!!!

back onto painting now i've scrolled through 30 pages of google images your work is looking amazing and the only tip I can think of for eyes is dont paint them in the middle of the eye paint them as if it is looking at something saves the model looking like it has a lazy eye.

here be a wise man;) indeed, googling faye reagan may be dangerous, causing heart attacks or stuckedness. about the lazyeyes thing, going for the type of effect meph is talking about, they´re looking at everything! the demon will be a centerpeace of a GW battlefield display, so there will be things for them eyes to look at.

this is where i´m at, liked working in a few more details to the base, small weapons and animals. having a hard time doing trustworthy spiderwebs though, anyone have tips for this? prefereably not requiring a airbrush. cant afford atm.
more pics tho=)

yeah thanks for a nice evening! sword turned out ace ischa, great job! however, that spiderweb dont work. perhaps it looks better irl but in these images it looks more like...rope or something. there is a technique to use uhu glue (not 100% sure it works at your dio though) i watched a tut somewhere at wamp but cant find it atm... i can show you at our next session ;)

EW! EW! EW! I was doing just fine until you said that, thank you very much! lol!

It looks fantastic Ischa! But I see what you mean. Well, there's always the cotton ball or cotton swabs ripped into wispy strands. Steel wool - you just need to pull out one strand.

I think I remember something about embroidery floss - now it would seem too large but embroidery floss pulls apart into thin strands. A little glue and you've got the makings of a web.

What did you use for the current spiderweb?

OMG skelly, that´s f**king brilliant!

dads house, finding codwebs never was a problem;) sure the attic has more spiders than your basement!

kath, i used some strings from a sock. pulled out single strands, but they broke, so had to use ridiculous amounts of glue!

Ah yeah, a strings from a sock will bust - embroidery floss won't do that.

Skelly - interesting vid! I thought I'd have to get one of you guys to translate for me but it's straight forward enough. I'm trying to figure out the western equivalent of the glue. Rubber cement does the same thing but it's heavier and I don't think you could get the light strands.
