Thank you Mr Darth. You know, was just thinking about ways to highlight the armor today, and I picked up some VMC white glaze. Is anyone familiar with this stuff? I know recently Andy G highlighted a red cloak by glazing a white over it, at the advice of SkeletetteS. It looked great, and I want to go with the same highlighted base coat type effect here. Basically, in the same way that I used Rhinox hide to shade my ratskinflesh/Mournfang brown basecoat, I will use the white glaze to highlight the Ratskin+Ivory layers. In theory, should be awesome.
Also wanna take this time to say that it looks like I could potentially end up in the field soon. Yakima training center is a high plains desert that really, really sucks. Will be there for a couple weeks. I am majorly bummed because it will keep me away from my pallet. However, I did buy some more greenstuff and brown stuff to go with my milliput. Also have some tiny wire. So I'll take the sculpting tools and just mess around. Who knows, maybe I'll come back with something kinda workable. Also, if I have room I'll bring a plinth along and knock out some base work. So it can be somewhat fruitful. But I really, really need to avoid going altogether for personal reasons, so maybe I'll get lucky
Cheers all and thanks for the support u all have shown me.
