Look forward to seeing your results. One additional step can be made. After all the above steps, add the white of your choice to the Oxide paint. Drybrush, yes-drybrush this on in places. DBing works very well here because a chalky finish is actually desired. So choose your chalkiest white. Mine is probably Vallejo Game Air Aged White, horrible (great) stuff.
You can also take your Oxide paint, or whitened Oxide paint, and dilute it significantly. Maybe 4:1 water:Nihilahk Oxide. Dab this on in places and before it dries on its own pick up the half dried mix with a dry brush. This will leave a nasty water mark that further supports the verdigris look.
