I was a big fan of SaxonAngel\'s back in my early CMON days (I still am, of course :)) and some of her more striking works really made me think \"wow!\". But it was probably the early lighting effects minis by victoria (eg. Firey Angel) and EricJ (eg. May Faith Protect) that \"blew me away\".

Of course THIS still raises my eyebrows, albeit for other reasons...

Psst...That\'s not your eyebrow.

That\'s a good question. I can\'t really say off the top of my head, but it was probably something of Bobby Wong\'s. Soooo smooth.

i think probably fiery angel too as it was one of the first i saw one here, although albert\'s slayer sword winning ork pushed things further for me

I really like that, but it didn\'t strike me as much as \"Fiery Angel\" simply because the lighting doesn\'t extend to the figures themselves. Even Victoria learns a step at a time :)

I\'d already been painting for a while when I saw this one, but it was the one
that first made me really want to improve.

Of course, it\'s all moot, now, since I\'ve all but stopped painting. I\'ve even started
turning commissions toward other people.

I\'ve lost the drive, completely.
