At first I was turned off by his casting, too, but seeing what part he\'s playing I think he\'ll do alright. And who knew how good most of the guys in LOTR could be before the movies premiered?Originally posted by vincegamer
Don\'t know if I\'ll see it, but Black is a good actor who can pull off real emotion, and I understand he\'s playing what amounts to a glorified carnival barker, so it\'s not like he\'s being Richard III or something. He\'s a guy who can get in your face and make you want to buy something.
I\'m very selective about what movies I see, and I am definitely going to see Narnia. Kong on the other hand is a remake, and as far as I can tell, the only thing it\'s got going on the original is FX.Originally posted by Mick
Vince how could you not want to see Kong?..

That sucks! I don\'t stop my fiancee from going to see movies that I don\'t have any interest in seeing. That seldom happens, but if he wants to see something without me he has my blessing. Well, maybe not if it\'s a Johnny Knoxville movie.Plus, being married means I don\'t see much my wife doesn\'t want to see. My last \"boys night out\" was to see Kung Fu Shuffle.

Now with a story hook like that you\'ve got to spill the beans now.I have a REALLY weird story about the books \"The Chronicles of Narnia\", but I\'ve been debating whether or not to post it; I\'m not sure I even believe it myself...
It\'s not that she doesn\'t let me. It\'s partly that we share funds I suppose, but also if I\'ve got 3 hours of free time I usually want to spend them with her. Occasionally I just need a fix of testosterone-filled escapism.Originally posted by snifflesThat sucks! I don\'t stop my fiancee from going to see movies that I don\'t have any interest in seeing.
