After 6 weeks my computer is at last working again My mate added windows X.P.then 1 by 1 every thing else BLEW UP !!!!!

Things break sometimes... even Macs do! I had a new Mac at University a while back... and pretty soon nothing worked on it!

Sounds like a power supply issue not a software issue. For those things to go so close together.

More details may be needed for better help. With that many issues though I say take it to a local mom and pop and have them take a look.

Giving an ambiguous answer here and will say as Ritual did that yes anything can break, but will second what Electrolito said, the Mac\'s the best investment you\'ll make. I\'ve had two and never had a minute\'s worry in ten years. The only reason I\'ve had two was cos I dropped the first one :cussing:

No need to debate... But one thing that I want to point out... It\'s silly comparing the quality of a Mac and a PC since Macs are made by Apple and PCs are made by hundreds or thousands of companies of various sizes and standards.

No debate here. I am a PC user and will always be one, but I show no ill will to Mac.

As a hardcore Gamer, a computer tweaker (Building a water cooled system soon), designer of PLC\'s, PCs work for me. Macs do not.
It\'s all in what you use it for.

It is a MAC and it is Called OS X ... now explain to me why Microsoft would make it sooooo similar... because company\'s see competition and TRY to surpass their technology, but in this case... TRY is more than accurate!

Iv used Mac\'s 15 years (yes since i was 4! I remember Kid Pix on my 9\" black and Wite Apple II!) and i have never had ONE problem, not ONE. Since then iv had 4 other Macs, and i currently run a MacBook Pro for college.

Really its horses for courses, but my Mac does everything i need it to do (Editorial design wise)
