seeing some excellent stuff in this thread. nice work! I thought gollum was looking really good. I like the squig diorama, it\'s going to look fun, and I really cant wait to see the geisha on the bridge with a coat of paint. =)

little update on the squiggy, i couldnt work on him over the weekend because i was down at wembley on sunday!!! P )
i was thinking about sculpting him little a ding-a-ling with maybe a little bit of pee coming out, wot do u think?

the grots finally got some eyes, i need to fill in the sockets a little to make em fit, hes had some new gums put in and to rod coming out his back will be the saddle grip, started to knock together the basics on the grot, havnt got the right head for em yet, so ill have to pilfer a bits box site for a grots head.

a little update on the lord, i took these a couple of days ago, am just waiting for confirmation on extending the freehand to other parts of the lord. other than that iv been highlighting all the limbs, ill have more complete pics in a few days.

and some progress on squiggy races

some people have suggested puttin in a bush that the grot can hide behind, but i thought it be funnier to hang a camo net thats hes lobbed together, so if had a bash at sculpting a blanket, but am not overly happy with it so am going to get my hands on some ciggy papers 2morro and try again.

Hi guys, iv had to put a few bits on old whilst i work on this, its for a challenge over on wamp, it finishes on wens so they wont get delayed too long

with this mini am workin to improve how i paint red and skin, both are heading in weird unexpected directions but am going to work with both and see where it takes me

hi guys, iv been offered a few pages in a model publication that a friend is putting together, so am lookin at turning around some nice non gw minis quite quickly so he has a few more bits to pick from, so i started painting hurk last night, its my first bash with non metallics and am after a little help. from wot i can see i think i need to add a little more mid and mid-highlight tones and maybe darken the shadows a little , i think the positioning of the highlights looks good, although i may change the highlights on the collar so their at the point rather than either side. any advice uv got guys would really help!

yep, and the balance of the blue spot colour on the base works really nicely. A lot of people could learn from your eye for composition.

Hi guys bit of an update to a project iv been working on for quite a long time now. on the front their isnt much of a change, iv finally sorted out the aquilla, iv replaced the plasticard of the loincloth (what is the proper name of those tassles? ???) with thinner more realistic pewter, ill also be puttin some gems on his belt.
The biggest update is to the backpack, iv had to work my way through several ideas to get to this stage, am thinking about placing a few more test tubes somewhere on the backpack to sell the combat drugs idea, once painted the central mixing compartment will be half filled with coloured resin to again sell the effect, still a few bits to tidy up here but am very happy with it.
Lastly the head, this one is the rough head, iv been trying to sculpt some wavy hair on him so theirs a little bit of motion, also iv been considering having half his head shaved so some combat drug tubes/plugs fit. Very happy with how he is coming along, i am lookin to take him to gduk, so keep an eye out for some quick prgress!

what putty are you using for him, it looks like a gs and magic sculp/milliput/apoxie sculpt mix?
