Search and Destroy/Huron

This is somethin i got not too long after germany, if am honest it kinda distracted me from huron, am lookin to start painting it today

its called search and destroy, still waiting on some mini bricks to finish the base

this is the progress on huron, smoothed out the front highlights a little more, done more general lighting on the backs and the metallics have received a look in

*edit* also anyone know how to edit the title of my topic? i need to take the hasslefree stuff out

That scene is mental! I love the architecture, above and below ground, just superb.

you gotta tell me how you make your ice base it looks amazing. i agree with the viking too, another mini could be a little more fitting, with the leaping pose and sheet of ice he looks like hes bound to slip and fall on his ass

I know you posted it a while ago, but that sword is way cool! There are also some really nice dynamics building up on the Huron - are you going to be using more purples to make the blue pop?

yea their will be, theirs still quite a few more gems and tassles left to paint

the vikings base was more of a test base then anythin else, was trying to get a more realistic effect, basically though its layers of melted parafin wax, it can be fidly to get right, but its a cool effected

some progress, managed to get the brick work done, still need to weather the brick and make the fireplace a little more convincing, will be doing more base work 2morro, lobbed some paint on the beetle as well

no worries mate, u can do alot of cool stuff with em, picsters slayer sword winner inspired me to get some

here is the progress so far, been followin the FW masterclass book, still got the metallics and detailing to do, although the armour is pretty much done

Hi everyone! done a little more detailing, the beetle has had some rust streaks added, iv added some texture and a water pipe to the slope, added some plaster to the chimney. Iv tried to make the fireplace more realistic, although i might redo the metal hood, move it down a bit to hide the little girl
