Really gr8 aha level up model...really am impressed with the freehand on that tiny canvass what I really love about your paintjob is the way the denatured colors make the saturated reds pop very nicely..sort of screams hey look over here at the red facemask..

Anyways, Here is the banner done(ish). I am pretty happy with it. there are couple of spots of thick paint, particularly on the mask. Rotating the mask back and forth to get it to work with the gold Nasier symbol on top was a pain and I think I got a bit impatient. To try and smooth it out I sealed with some gloss varnish and then went over that with matte varnish. It helped a little.
If I had more time and patience I would try to sand down the mask with some very fine sand paper and repaint, but I have neither so I am going to move on.
For a final seal I will probably do a coat of satin varnish which, I think, will make the colors a tiny bit more vivid if a little harder to photograph.
Next step is painting up the base which should go pretty quickly and then if I have time left over I will do something with the back of the banner and then assemble and post

Wow, this thing is an overall beast. Every part is so good - base, fig, banner but seeing it come together it's even better than the sum of it's parts! The color variation on the base also looks great with the mini there. Goes together perfectly...I'm sure there's an artsy term for that but I'll just say it just looks "right"!

Wow, another awesome base and scene. Really cool stuff. This piece should definitely do well in the contest.
One quick question, have you thought about brightening up the red on the figure to match what's on the banner? Maybe it's the lighting, but the mask on the figure look pretty dark (and especially when compared to the light clothing on his upper body). I would consider adding some brighter reds to the face to make it stand out more.
