the base looks promising, nice set up asthetically you might want to chip the outside edge off the pillar on the right so your dosen't wander and is drawn to the middle. Loving the steel blue ball and gold on the weapon.

Croc update....
After having Bailey talk me off the ledge last night I cajoled my wife into a little more hobby time and I think I can comfortably say the crocs are basically done. Let me put it this way, they will never end up in the closet of shame. As-is they are suitable for the display cabinet, but they need some touch ups. Especially where I have worn paint off from handling them too much. The next time I paint big minis I am going to do some of the assembly after painting. Getting to all the surfaces while holding these big guys was no fun.
I also still need lighten up the bases a little but that will happen as I get the diorama base worked out. Phew! Here are some picts. I did the grey parts of the weapons more as stone. I imagine bronze or gold bracketing big chunks of iron ore to make nice heavy smashers.
Okay back to work!

Oh come on don't be such a drama queen. Just smash 'em with a hammer like a man and then quietly cry about it later under the painting table. You are putting too much pressure on yourself. When I first saw them I thought the sculpts where really nice. Your paint job makes them look stunning!! The detail work is incredible. The faces are so full of character. Their scaly skin is really life like. Your take on the weapons being big lumps of ore gildered in gold is 100% believeable. Don't sell yourself short dude, I think they're beautiful
