No wonder IPM likes living at home so much. If you weren\'t a continent away I would be asking if you took lodgers..;):bouncy:

I\'ve had ....

dinner tnight and a piece of pie, but reading all this food just makes me hungry!

TAB, I do the multi-dinners too. Otherwise I\'d never eat fish, chicken liver, duck, etc.etc. Keeps my cooking-mind sane. Alas, bbq is only an option in the summer when we live out in our garden house....at least until we get a ...what\'s the thing called that hangs off the ie of a building where people sit out in the sun? ???I\'m forgetting my English!!!

Modderrhu -- Thai stir-fry is often on the menu. Luckily there\'s a thai grocer just on the next corner -- n get thai, chinese and indonesian ingredients there. I really wanna take a cooking class to learn to use all the cool stuff they sell that I have no idea how is used. lol

(..warm and pumping...lol)

Hmm, last night was enchelada\'s and refried beans - gods I miss real Mexican food.

Wont be cooking again until July, so . . . .

But as a suggestion -

Thinly sliced beef, a really hot frying pan/skillette (cast iron is best), a drizzle of olive oil, shreaded onion, sliced garlic, and some peppers. Throw in the beef first, then the veg, let it cook till the beef is done and the veg just starting to soften, then add some worstishire sauce or soy sauce and a bit of water to deglaze the pan. Serve with rice or noodles.

I REALLY hate cooking, so dinner for me usually consists of takeaway, or something in a microwave box... my diet sucks.

try and take little steps towards healthy. If they like tacos, make taco salad. Instead of chicken wings, use chicken breasts with hot sauce, and try sneaking in the elusive fish but make your own tartar sauce starting with fat free mayo or try some new dill sauce.

My lovely wife made a great roast beef with carrots and onions, so a little good and a little bad. try to keep your food in balance, you know yin and yang.

just a thought.

I had a large shoulder of mutton from my girlfriend\'s farm and studded it with garlic and rosemary (trimmed a neighbour\'s bush when they weren\'t looking lol).

I twas marvellous with roasted onion, pots, snips and carrots. A special mash was the crowning glory.

Tonight I shall be mostly eating.....thousands of pancakes. I\'m gagging for it already!

I made a savoury creamy leek sauce yesterday for my pancakes. The pancakes were top as well. Like mother says, 2 heaped tablespoons of flour to one large egg. Add milk slowly until you get the right consistency, beating it all the time. It\'s the same as a yorkshire pud mix ain\'t it, only slightly runnier.

The reflexologist comes over tonight, so I\'ve got to cook more veg foods. Last week I gave her carrot risotto with emmenthal which was tasty in a weird sort of way. Tonight I\'ll do a lentil surprise I reckon. I sometimes feel like I should be paid for all the bloody cooking I do.

Rosemary is a lovely lass, and her bush has never been as trim as it is since she moved in next door to me.
