Drinks anyone?

I didn’t even drink last night but I fell like I did…. I must be coming down with something

Funny you should mention cats, We have one here at the moment, but there will be four additions come this after noon.

Long story but well be watching them 4 a month

Definitely good advice!! My biggest problem is that I used to never get hangovers. The one time I did Grumb was amazed because I was feeling fine before lunchtime and wanted food.

I\'m older now and don\'t drink as often (maybe that\'s the problem! lol). Actually, last night I drank too quickly. Made some sweet drinks that went down easily and just knocked my system to hell. If I\'d been drinking wine, port, or something I sip I would\'ve been fine this morning.

Don\'t worry, Itchy, I\'m sure they\'ll take good care of you at the Freaks bar...*snicker, snicker*

I\'m pretty much over the hangover. It\'s almost dinner time here and I\'ve already been up since 5:45 am with an old dog whose back legs won\'t work, cooked lunch for a houseful of people, and let the boys play on the computer since it\'s raining outside.

Thank goodness the dog\'s feeling better and walking around, the guests have gone, and the kids are still on the computer!

I will say...living in the middle of the BEST WINE REGION IN THE WORLD does have it\'s advantages. A short drive from my front door and there is an almost endless variety of wineries to choose from. YUM!!

I\'ll have to agree with Shawn on this one. Love wine, except Chardonnays (nasty stuff), but can\'t stand beer.

Whites can be really good or really bad. Some taste like unripe apples. Yick. Also, what\'s the deal with grappa?? Most hard liquer at least tastes sweet. Grappa is like fuel. Tastes awful. How does \'regular\' port differ from \'tawny\' port?

Usually, a hangover is just a result of dehydrations sickness. I\'ve found that if you drink a tall glass of water in between your \'adult\' drinks, the hangover is usually averted.

On the last \'bender\' I went on, I drank way too much, and thought I might as well smoke cigarettes too (I used to smoke but quit several years ago). I think the cigarettes are what made me feel ill the next day...
