Dang, that looks especially good for less than an hour.I bought some things to maybe enter for reapercon this year for fun and they sent me this wraith for free. I did a quick airbrush on him to try out a few techniques as well as tried a osl type deal with the sword. It doesn't read super well but from start to finish it was under an hour so I'm okay with it.

@bam: nice summarized guiding principles
@endless: do you have the name of the reapercon mini? It really looks great!
Love the work on the marine for that amt of tune. Let me share something being highlight placement will always come up. The light scenarios are a phenomenal way. How most of us were taught a bit further back was something informative that I still swear by today. It’s more of an idea based on where the minis parts will have the highest highlights - to the deepest shadows to the intermediate shades as well. I feel if you read this bit and combine it with those light scenarios you will always get the right positions and everybody else feel free to use.
There is a write up on THE OZ PAINTERS FORUMN( the forum of automaton (Sebastian archer) mini painter extraordinaire . The article is called THE STOP SIGN RULE!!!

These boyz are shaping up nicely. I'm looking forward to seeing you add some weathering to the armor and getting some green on that skin!![]()
Those conversion pieces are looking great Endless, are they Kromlech? Top idea to use a large piece of bark for the base too. Good thinking
