Thanks Mike. Working down to 1/32 scale was challenging (used to specialise in busts and 1/16) and anything smaller, like this, is a real stretch for me when it comes to the details... eyes aren\'t what they used to be you understand! So that\'s part of it.

This is one of the reasons for this piece, to practice with Kneadatite at this scale.

Rolled out the GS, did the basic shaping, trimmed the edges a bit, then added some of the worn edges in the style of the original sculpt. After I cut in the edges of the panels with the tip of a sharp sculpting tool I added some fine creasing, to look like it was roughly stitched together with tension here and there. It looked a little too uniform at that stage so I stippled it lightly with a brush to add a fine pocked texture and did some more of the holes near the hem.
