moonmin82 New member Jul 18, 2012 #30 Not particularly exciting progress but one step closer to casting... I've evened out a thin area of the bat to ensure casts shouldn't snap in the post: Now I just need to remove the arms holding the bat and add ball/socket joints.

moonmin82 New member Jul 29, 2012 #31 Preparing for casting... Arms off: Left arm removed (armatre wire would prevent me from adding peg/hole assembly) and basic stump formed: To keep the correct positioning of the bat and arms I'm going to resculpt one arm at a time.

I must admit I've been very daunted by this final process, hence why it's taken so long to get round to! I hope it'll make it to the casting stage and be worthwhile!

moonmin82 New member Aug 5, 2012 #34 Attempted to resculpt the left arm with the bat blu-tacked in place. The blu-tac is at that sticky and weak stage so it didn't hold for long. That didn't help, plus my sculpting time was rudely interrupted...
