Feel Your Age

IPM you are cruel and unusual:D Making all of us coffin dodgers feel old... but then I have ton in common with a whole lot of the rest of you... Over 40, graduated HS in 79, married for 20 years this year. AND GUESS WHAT ALL YOU YOUNG WHIPERSNAPPERS I wouldn\'t change it for the world and definately would not go back. So far my 40\'s are the best decade yet! With wisdom comes great responsibility, mostly to let the younger generation figure it out for themselves:bouncy:

I guess it was reading about all these people who have been married for fifteen plus years, when I have only just got engaged.

Well done, you beat me with 2 years. I was 21 which is pretty much the fastest route (half a year delay in my case)through school unless you can skip years because of extreme high intelligence. On the other hand I got my MSc at 32 (specialised college graduatescourse). :)

As to the guys talking about breast and back hair. Hehe, being partly Asian I\'ll never have that problem. And I\'m really happy I\'m never going to the have the greying carpets I see on the arms of the older Dutch here! Yihaa! :D
Of course I\'m slightly less happy that I come from two families where people loose hair. No genetic saves there! :(

Hum Hum

\"We \'re gonna ride forever!
You can\'t keep horsemen in a cage!
Should the angels come,
Well it\'s only then,
I fall in the graaave!!!\"
I\'m almost 31, I feel like 72, I have 2 rabbits and 3 cats and maybe a tenia. I live with a marvelous woman since a date I must quikely remember if I want to eat a hot meal. And I hate horses... Life is shorter than one may think at 17 or 18.

I am 37 years old now I left school in 1980 having sat all my exams, do I feel old. While not being as old as some members out there I do some times feel it mostly when I am talking to colleagues at work and I might menton a song or a group or a tv program etc and I get the never heard of that response.
But for the most my outlook on life is the same now as it always has been and that is to enjoy life as much as possible we are after all only here once (depending on your beliefs).
I have been married and divorced and I remarried again and now I have a great life with my family and I\'m still doing the things that I was doing 20 years ago, ie going to gigs, painting minis, dinking until I don\'t even know my own name for me most of the time life is good.

Hello all!

There is a mind of an 18 year old stuck inside this 25 year old body...

But still, most of you guys make me feel young! Thanks :D

*does his little happy dance*

Although I do envy some of you older guys - no partner, no kids... would quite like both :D

I like the saying that you are as old as the person you feel lol

Are you sure that shouldn\'t say \' you\'re as old as the person you\'re feeling up?\'

lollollollollollollollollollollol

all this talk about college is depressing me, i had to quit goldsmith college becasue the educational fees were more than my whole student grant saved up for a year....:(:(:(:( i might one day go and study literature though, but again, finances are a problem....

Well this could turn into a discussion of mental age verses chronological age. I am far younger of mind than my 43 years on the planet would indicate:D

Margo - BA at 19, obviously inteligent, multi-lingual, a mini nut, a fantastic painter, great attitude, gorgeous,... maybe the guys in that other thread were right... time to move to Moscow;) And that\'s not even to mention Alexi:D

Damn if only I actually were a bit younger... oh yeah, I don\'t want to go there.

Thank you, thank you! Now this would make an excellent recommendation letter or a \"highlights\" section in a resume lol
