It could actually be the first thing you see when you get to the site. Maybe it\'s a little difficult to do, I have no idea :)

Thank you for all your feedback!

For those who want to see a map, thats on my to do list. I dont think that doing the map is the hard part, but fitting lots of numbers (one for each country) might be difficult. To get the idea off the ground though ill start by doing a map split into continents, which when clicked produces the stats for that area.

Also im am expecting some problems with the emails not being sent (technical reasons I wont go into here!). If you can, check in your Spam email box if you have one. If its not in there, drop me a message and ill activate your account from my end.

How about adding peoples Skype ID for people who use free voice over IP software (People who want to natter for free should really look into this!)

Oke I, registered as well... and Ming-Hua I doubt your date of birth is correct seeing according to it you will be born somewhere next month lol

Im hoping that someone out there would like to help out with the logo. Im not the most arty person in the world! That graphic certainly encompases the spirit of the site though.

Also, if you change the \"index.php\" part of the
link to \"showprofile.php?memberID=Galante\" (or whatever your screen name may be) it will go straight to your own profile!

Im up and look forward to further developements,photos etc.
As and idea,how about a slot for a painted mini pic.Though Im sure a lot will use the photo slot.

Thanks for all your great comments!

A few minor updates

  • FaMP ID is now shown in your edit view and showprofile view (suggested by Mickc22
  • You can now add Skype IDs (suggested by Fizl)
  • Now requred to retype your email address on signup to make sure email addresses are entered correctly.
  • dates of birth are now done by drop down list to ensure semi-validity (Its still possible to be born on the 31st of Feb, must fix that :) )
  • layout problem in IE... not sure if anyone picked up on this....

Quick question... what does everyone think of having a \"Gender\" field on the profile? bear in mind that all the fields are optional.

@Klute : Could be a good idea to offer the option, theres no harm in it.

I tried to register and it gave me a confirmation e-mail,it links me to the site, then the first one says my account is already activated, when I put my name and password in, it tells me my account is NOT activated, and I need to check my e mail.... ???
