I recently submitted 2 miniatures, and I was looking for some constructive feedback on them. I've only been painting minis for a few years, and so I'm trying to learn as much as I can and become a better painter. All of the miniatures that I paint are for gaming with. I don't really worry about adding base detailing because for our gaming sessions, it's really inconvenient and limits the use of the figure for us.

It was my first try at painting metallics, and quite some time before I learned the all important techniques of prepping and priming miniatures. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the eye of the mini, which is red and glowy.

I wanted to look like it was kind of mottled and had dirt on it from living underground. I painted the rocks on the base in similar tones to show how effective the basilisk's skin is for camouflage.
Please let me know what you think and give me some feedback so that I can improve my skills. Thank you!
