@ Pate and Rugne: I think I see where you're getting at, it does seem antiquish or unpolished, and a bit too close to the mane color. I haven't thought about following the gems colors, seems logical, maybe it would be too yellowish in the end tough, I always prefered brownish gold to yellow gold.
But after reflection (And sleep) I won't rework it. It's pretty fair for a first try, and I'm afraid I would ruin it if retouch it.
