Well, that\'s because most of them are the exact same pics....They travelled together, and used the same camera, so I suppose it follows that the pics would be the same.

and the same html! :D

not complaining!

Jeremie sometimes take some of my website\'s pages to add to Bragonart...
avoiding to make two coverages for a same event.

By the way Margo, did you get chased by a horde of kids full of hormones? Or were they too shy? lol

Ahh, thank you!

And yes, I did get chased by teen-and-not-only-agers. But I\'m used to that, and besides, I\'ve got a ring on my finger lol

it was so nice to know a lot of painters and to meet old friends like matt, joe, allan, jeremie, bruno, mark, etc.. next year i would like to meet more of you!!!..

the event is awesome itself and the entries are awesome, in my opinion at the same level as french golden demon..the 2 best painting contest in all over the world (i am talking about fantasy miniatures)..

victor hardy\'s model was stunning, and the free-hand was perfect.. it was a pity.. but it deserved gold in my opinion... instead mark tait model was lovely too..for me his best model ever done.

french team as nice as always and english friends too..i knew steve nash and i think he is so simpathic and i love his sculpt.

apart from that i am happy, two of our team take demons (luis-bronze on tlotr mini--this frodo it is amazing..yo\'ll see it soon..look at the face ..it is perfect// and NANO continues doing perfect dreadnoughts.. he took gold in 40.000 vehicle and believe me it is incredible well painted..too simply but the paintjob is perfect..
and me...like in france..another finalist in duel category..I sculpted 2 chaos warriors..a khorne warrior versus an slaanesh one...but the did\'t place.. i painted it in 4 days so maybe this was the reason because it wasn\'t as good as i would like..did you saw it?, no one???

ok..it was a great day...and next is the spanish gd..who wants to come???.. i can buy tickets if you need..french team come as last year...and i hope english painters come too..i know richard come (palocles9..maybe tammy haye too?¿?¿..i heard that she maybe comes but not sure..

sorry for my english but i am writting so fast.

I saw it and i think it was really cool. maybe the reason it didnt place was because i think the muscle tone was a little flat on the slaanesh but its only from memory :~(

duel

yes maybe you are right.. i painted it in 4 days and i sculpted the two warriors in 20 hours..maybe too fast..i need to be less impatient..
.i finished in the hotel a day before with nano, who didn\'t finished his model until 6 in the morning..i need more patient and spend more time i think...congrats for your demon tommy.

maybe next year i will put you in troubles...jejejej.lol ;)

i am glad that you like it.

i will post it sooner:duh::D

the can in question

sorry if this thread is old news but....

Joint entry from Seth Nash (conversion) and Matt Parkes (paint). Can open: worms everywhere! Quite nice though.

steve you know me better than that, it was of course completly scratch built :)

the figure was done for fun, we won something, a few people got upset, for that i appologise. As i said, we did it for fun.

do you think that i put less time into the sculpt than matt did into the paint job? This was not one guy doing just a head swap and filling some gaps before handing it to a painter.

It does raise the point that being able to sculpt is less valued than being able to paint. Can anyone name an international competition for sculptors of the same level as golden demon?

think about that the next time you put a brush to something :)

once again i apologise for anyone who got upset.

cheers
seth

p.s. ramon i asked Brian for you, sorry but he said he\'s too busy at the moment :)

Since it seems to be getting nigh-impossible to win at the Demons *without* sculpting something on one\'s entry, I\'d say you already have it.

but it still has to be painted afterwards, you do not have to sculpt to enter golden demon

I thought the Chaos Marauder and the Samurai were exquisitely sculpted, and of course within the rules, it just seemed a little incongruous to me that it\'s a GW competition and yet they give the top prize to a model that isn\'t.

But I was neither offended or upset :D
