Sorry frenchkid.....
I know nothing about prisons, but I am involved with children who have to go to what are known as \'Out of County\' schools. They are not prisons, their security bills are low, but they deal with vulnerable children, some of whom have offended etc....Now I know that these little schools cost between $100,000 and $250,000 a year to the taxpayer. This doesn\'t include weekends.
Imagine what these costs would be in a high-security establishment???
You are entitled to your belief about the taking of life...but your figures are miles off.
Just as a matter of interest..do you pay taxes yet? The only reason I ask, is because a lot of people who like to make free with taxpayer\'s money don\'t actually contribute themselves...just curious...
There is a huge difference between keeping people alive and keeping them in a maximum security prison.Originally posted by frenchkid
