The obese dont contribute to society at all. Dont pay taxes, dont give meaning to others lives, they simply take from everyone else.

Wow. You are making the rounds on me tonight, eh? Yeah. It is bigoted. What do you mean they cost us enough already? I\'m Type II diabetic. I don’t remember any of you popping in and flipping the bill for me when I needed insulin and medicine. I am also insulin resistant. Do you know what that means? My body can’t get rid of sugar; If sugar goes in my body, its there for a long time. What is fat? Its stored sugar. Should I be denied medical service? Are people like me a burden? What about Alzheimer’s? Don’t help them either. They are a burden too. Out on the street with them, they won’t know.


Wait. Here comes the same argument. “You need to go on a diet.” I went to a diet clinic for one year. After trying to figure out why I stopped losing weight, I went to a diabetic specialist. He told me, “It’s your metabolism. Your body’s insulin affects a lot of thing. That’s why it stopped. I can give you diet pills for a lot cheaper than this clinic you are going to. But it will last only 6 months or so. Then it will stop. You need to have by pass surgery.” That’s $300 US a month and no one at the clinic said a thing. They just told me to keep trying. And I did. Obviously I can’t do it on my own. But that doesn’t mean I don’t stop trying.

So yeah. I think it is very bigoted. You are assuming that you have to pay for fat people. Maybe the ones with diabetes or heart disease. But a lot of that stuff isn’t because you sit at McDonalds all day. It’s also hereditary.

But again I will ask - who defines Obese? By the BMI you can be 6\'3, 350 lbs, and have a body fat %of 2 percent or less, but still be \"obese\".

but you know what we don\'t do? we allow people to piss our money away.

we don\'t give breast implants to men. we do to women.

we don\'t give hearts to people without kidneys. (although it might happen that we give them both at once, but i doubt it.)

we don\'t give people motorized chairs unless they have a medical reason for needing it. i reckon a mobile chair would rock! but i have to buy it myself.

proritization and discrimination are not dirty words all the time. and yeah since were all forthcoming about ourselves i am definately overweight. by any standard. and i\'m not about to let other fat people squander my money on hopeless cases. yet i\'d happily spend money on a more immediate concern for them. something like a stomach reduction surgery.

BTW i simply love how you declare points for yourself, judge and jury style. if i had a trophy for the internets i\'d give it too you.
