Educational Psychologist...

I have the happy job of trying to \'address the needs\' of children who are unable to cope with school for whatever reason, mainly poor parenting I am afraid to say...:(

I think that poor parenting is the pressure being put on that kid, just like me, that why I like to have a psychologist, the one that doesn\'t subscribe things, to let off some of the pressure because I sometimes feel as if I have the weight of the world on my shoulders.

I\'m a roofer. Well owner/operator of a roofing company but I\'ve put my time in on the roof. Fun part is I\'m quite afraid of heights. I\'ve gotten used to pitched roofs but flats still scare the crap out of me (go figure, should be the other way around). I\'m probablly one of the only roofers out there with a degree in Economics and a diploma in web programming (then again from what EricJ says about out of work web designers maybe it\'s not so uncommon afterall).

I used to have one of them fancy desk job thingies but couldn\'t stand it, I figured happiness was more important than wages. Can\'t say the wifie agrees, she misses the steady paycheck.

I draw things on architectural desktop (swimming pools, conservatories etc etc).

My best job ever was delivering curries, that job rocked. Used to chill out in the restaurant for 4 hours on a Saturday and Sunday night, delivered about a dozen meals, tips were good, then went out for drinking sessions and whathaveyou, I miss those days.

I thought tipping wasn\'t done so much in the UK, or is that just bar staff?

Depends really. I tend to tip taxi drivers and the woman that cuts my hair. If I\'ve had some drinks I sometimes tip bar staff. I\'m sure if I went out to eat at restaurants of ordered take away food I would tip those guys too, but I never do either of those things. SOme people don\'t tip, I really don\'t like those people :cussing:, having had a job where I earned a fair bit of cash through tips :D

At the moment you only \'feel\' that you have the weight of the world on your shoulders...give it time...you\'ll soon know when the real weight descends:innocent:
