@Tenball, Webmonkey, Krulebear: Thank you for the comments, they are really welcomed! I was tempted for a moment to paint the face white with red triangles kind of a princess mononoke style..., but I can't do that to her... I would blame myself forever lol lol xD

I think I don't have time enough to elaborate a base, though I got some materials reserved for it, I prefer to present a mini without a base and elaborate it later, than quitting just because I did not end the base.

@Webmonkey: It's supposed that we all (those that still haven't done it) must post the picture tomorrow before noon isn't it?

Really nice work maenas. I think they are right, it's an interesting idea to put a mask on her. But I fully understand you, as that would change all of your idea for the whole model. Go with what feels right for you. And please still post picture, even without base. Having such a great miniature it would be a shame to rush base now. Take your time after competition.
I'm very interested in all the entries! So far all posted are great works!
I think we all evolved in this competition.

nope,.. there's still all day tomorrow. the actual voting doesn't start until the 1st, so you still have the 31st to work and/or post pics. so from the time of this post, you still have 27-1/2 hrs or so to go. (I hope more people post,.. the voting threads are looking a bit thin at the moment)

The base will be either a plain flying base or a very simply landscaped base as the figure will be sold as for gaming.

Don't worry ten, if it gets too fun we have a corner where you can sit and drink a pint by yourself. We'll even look at you once in a while and shake our heads sadly.

Got a bit stressed to end in time xD but there it is.
There is still time for tweaks but will do it in te future, for this comp I am mores than happy with the result, as it has forced me to push over my limits applying almost everything I learnt here in the past months.
