Sorry for the burry pics, I took them with my cell this morning. I should be able to get better pics up this weekend. I see what you mean about the butt cape, I will try to smooth that out with some thin layers of base leather color. The last time on the slag troll, I used a red for the shadows, but that just screwed him up. I will try the purple/brown and see what I get.
The elf lady.. ugh.. where to start.. I tried to bring out the shadows more on her using a brown wash, which totally wrecked her. So I have stripped her off again and proceeding at a slower place. Milosh suggested to me not to see shadow on flesh in a form of browns, but look at it in terms of temperature. So I have used the base flesh (fair skin) and added dark blue. I think it was a 5:1 ratio, then watered down by 10 drops of water to create a wash. I base toned her, then washed, then re-toned and started the highlights. I have browned out her eyes and I need to add the leather white to them. I have started the base of the top of the hair.
The look that I'm shooting for is a very pale fair skinned high elf type.. Not sure if I'm hitting that or not.. Let me know what you all think.. Thanks!
