Tried out my airbrush a little bit more today with help from Andreas a friend that has used airbrush for a long time. Slowly getting more control but still so much to learn. At the moment mostly able to do sketching of colours, still having problems in which order to put down colours and get the right transparency between colours and how to get correct flow of color onto the figure...
Despite your troubles getting the AB to work (I did actually buy a really cheap one from a lady in my neighborhood, but have yet to even try it out), it looks like you'll have some really interesting light effects to work with when you get in there with a brush.
Yes I will, at the moment I think I could have achiuved this faster with a brush but it is fun to try and learn new things, and as always I need more practice to get better at it.
I am kind of forced to, going to a painting course with Jesus Martin next weekend and a prerequisite is to bring your own airbrush, so It should be nice to be able to use it a little bit also.
Been to a course with Jesus Martin from Nocturna models, we got to paint a new bust that will be released at beginning of February if everything goes as planed. I am very happy with the result so far, It will have wings on the back, will take more pictures later. Will fix the eye a little bit better in the future.
We used very few colors and it is a monochrome color choice.
It is with the guidance of Jesus Martin that I have gone further then my normal skills on this one, and I have pictures of his original paint job, that will become the box art when they release it in February and I uses it to guide my light decisions. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?...48225884365.2099682.1202245035&type=3&theater
Really enjoying painting this one have one more copy that I will do very differently.
