Hi,
I'm a little late, but I think that AB looks ok for start.
What I see on the orange ones:
- you were spraying for a long time at places, that made uneven patches (leftmost figure). This usually means the paint was too thin. Can be remedied by using less water/medium or just quickly spraying then waiting until it's dry before hitting it with another light coat.
- second and third looks ok to me.
- on the 4th there is a large yellow spot, that's usually made when you hit the air over the figure, but there is undried paint on the tip of the needle. The tech would be: press AB for air beside the figure, go to the point where you want the paint, then pull back to spray. After it's done, release paintflow, then release airflow. It also helps if you clean the needle before hitting the figure with paint.
As a general rule of AB-ing the process should always be: press down for air, go over figure, pull back for paint, release trigger, so paint stops, release to stop air.
If you have that then it's only practice to control the airflow/paintflow the way you want.
for figures like these using masking can help a lot. Basically you AB the trousers, use masking tape/liquid on them once they are dry, then you could AB the skin. And at this point being done with 80% of the paintwork.
PanO:
- basically you just sprayed the base color and stopped. You could go a few steps further to have the basic lighting done too.
- the finished models (the female so far) look great btw, especially if you could stick to the original 2hr/figure plan.
