Ugh, finally finished the red gore coat. Took some down time this hour to get something to eat

Can anyone think of a good colour to paint the guns if the armour is silver and the robes are red (plus I\'ll probably use black for the gloves)?

Color wheel says...
complementary is green
triad is blue or a yellow .
tetrad other color than above is purple.
don\'t know if it will help but thought to try

Just finishing up a coat of Red gore + Blood red. Midnight blue for the bolters does sound good. I\'ll try it on a few and see what it looks like

Finished up the red gore+blood red coat. Drybrushed Khaki, followed by Khaki+white onto the bases. I\'ve put the blue onto some of the weapons too (I\'ve used regal/imperial blue as I find the other Vallejo Game colou dark blue colours to be too glossy).

I\'m going to have a break for an hour now to get a shower and some breakfast. I know, it\'s not very Jack Bauer, but a guy\'s gotta eat :D

Anyhow, it should give me time to get some photos sorted and get some pics up

Ok, back to war

Finally got a picture taken of one of these guys (well, girls technically). It\'s VERY rough and ready at the moment, but I\'m pretty pleased with how much of the basic stuff I\'ve got done so far, so I should have a good amount of time to do a good amount of detail and touchups later on. Current time spent per model stands at around 37 minutes

It\'s looking great!
As it is, it\'s already a good solid seven in my book.
You\'re crazy but it\'s giving good results :)

I like the cobblestone base. When you have time can you describe your technique. That is a good solid basic trooper. keep up the good work.

@DrEvilmonki - The cobblestones are actually a sheet material, I stuck all the bases to the sheet and then cut around them. I\'ll definately go into more detail for those that want it later. Actually, there are seven more Sisters that need to be done at some point after these, so I could fill in some of the WIP pics I have missed then lol

I\'ve finished painting all the weapons blue, plus I\'ve given them a first highlight in Enchanted blue.

Looking good. I\'m gonna keep checking back here today... might inspire me to do some more painting myself (although given the amount of uni work I\'ve got to do, that\'s probably a bad thing!).

I\'ve done a couple of wash coats on the bases, plus tidied up the base edges with a black coat. I\'ve also done the final highlight on the guns with Lightning Bolt Blue
