I took pictures of both the CatGirl and Holo from the Anime-kit challenge, that's still going.
I consider both finished as they are varnished and all.

And a 'small' pic on how I made the extra apples.

The steps:
1. form a sphere from your choice of putty (I used Miliput)
2. make the sphere a little longer and with a colorshaper push in both sides
3. primed white
4. airbrushed VMC-Deep Yellow
5. airbrushed a band of VGC-Blood Red
6. painted in stripes of a dark brownish red , here I used GW-Baal Red Wash (ArmyPainter-Red Ink is also a super sustitute) . Pushed in parts got a brown wash to hide the yellow color.
6.5 I added thinned GW-RedInk (from the 2000 era, before the washes and foundations) to unify the colors a little.
7. gloss varnish it
+1 the apple with the bite (for Zab, as he suggested it): I took a chunk out in step 2 and after the varnish I painted it VMC-Buff, then added a little GW-GryphonSepia to make the edges browner.
Nope I must say I don't like the bitten apple, so I left it out from the base. I'll likely toss it to the trash, but still was good to learn a bit about sculpting and painting it (even if unsuccessful).
edit: there is one green apple on holo's base. It's basically the same, but instead of BloodRed it got Scorpion Green, and instead of BaalRed stripes it got VGC-BlackGreen / GW-Devlan Mud spots before a layer of VMC-Green Transparent have hidden everything...
