Michael Jackson dead in cardiac arrest

He was a showman, but a kid who never grew up and seemed to think of himself as being above everyone/everything. But, as today proves, he was just a mere mortal like the rest of us. I won\'t miss him.

he was a talented guy

the papers are starting to say he took an overdose of his painkillers (which they think he was addicted to) and that led to him having his heart attack

Well for a while I\'ve considered him a rather sad and lonely person, surrounded by people but not neccesarily friends.
Personally I think he peaked musically in the 80\'s with \"Billie Jean\" & \"Thriller\" .

I never got into Jacko so I don\'t really have much to say other than I\'m sure it\'ll all go nuts in the UK as people partake in that special brand of communal grief that consumed the nation after Di died. Batten down the hatches - there\'ll be a flood of tears!

Watch out for the vigils and the shrines. They\'ll be coming your way...

I\'m hoping for Simon Cowell.

It is a sad day for the music world, in that we will now have to endure countless hours of tributes, TV documentaries and wall to wall Jackson 5 on the radio.

I do however feel very sad for his kids. Although now they at least have a chance at a \"normal\" life.

One might say a lot about old MJ, but for a period of time he was the king of pop.

Absolutely!

The guy was an entertainment genius, but that was all leveled out by money, power, corruption, and insanity.

say what you want; his songs ruled...no artists now have that talent (or before IMO).

no one really has that much presence as he did on stage, etc.
