These men and women have gone to some of the finest schools in the world.
These are supposed to be some of the most intelligent, though one could argue that by judging their actions as well as words.
Plus, Star Trek isn\'t Pop Culture anymore, unless you happen to be single, overweight, and in your thirties, possibly living in your parents basement.

I totally agree ALL politicans should behave with more gravity. However until they stop having political scandals, corruption, extra-martial whatevers and start behaving like the Public Servants that they really are, I\'ll reserve the right to regard them with a seriously jaundiced eye.
And to clarify things I was elected and served as a Councillor 20 years ago. If you think \"mainstream\" politics is bound by self serving people, try local politics.
Hence my very Jaundiced and Cynical viewpoint.

I do enjoy the House of Commons (?) where as the speaker is making their point the others can hoot and holler. Gets very lively sometimes.

I don\'t see anything wrong with his speach. Oke maybe it\'s a bit of a popular wordchoice and not some high and mightly big words speach. But it\'s the message that counts. And it did help him get it broadcasted. heck we are even discussing it on a miniature forum We never would have without the Vulcans and Klingons.
