Hi Guys those that followed the Wyrd Rotten Harvest will recognise the first model .
love the sculpt and had a blast painting it and had real fun entering my first online paintig comp. Lesson learned make sure I get better pics for future comps.
I\'ve painted for a while but not photographed for long.
thanks to all who voted and commented in the comp and thanks to all the guys on here who hae offered me advice with piccies.

The rest of the models are all a bit of a break from my usual style the bright cartoony colours on Tyrion were real fun and the slann .both are parts of some of my current trials with NMM while I try and find a method I like,..jury is still out on wether I like the effect at all but we will see,.

The Kyrus model was done in metallics and in the flesh really looks gorgeous but photographing really let the metals down.

All show examples of my ever experimental Freehand I hope you like them and please any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I love the atmosphere of the Wyrd entry piece, the colours used really help set a dark atmospheric scene, and the freehand is cool too.

The FW slann is great, and nice to see a more vibrant colour for him.

Not too keen on the 3rd bit, although unsure why, sorry:redface:

Tyrion is also cool, and again an original scheme well done.

they are all very nice, but ... I feel that the yellow freehand on tyrions horse should pop more right now it looks unfinished and drags down the quality of the model.

did the vote thing....

slann loved it, would love to see it in real life, as the skin colour seems to have gone a little flat with the photo.

the scarecrow is just fantastic, only thing is the base, better base and it would have rocked even more, just seemed alittle plain, just my view.

3rd one is not good, metal just seems all wrong, i give you the benefit of the doubt that its a photo problem and not a painting one when I voted. < you did ask for photo help >

lastly the elf is lovely, nice mini thats been well painted.

My over all fav mini, drum roll please lol

scarecrow, just seems to tell more of a story, has more feeling to it than the others, so thats my fav!

great work overall keep up the work, always love what you do :)

cheers guys so it seems official Neran rules...
must admit he is my favourite and one of the most fun models I\'ve painted in a long time..

@Squig ....I agree with the point on Tyrion.Originally the freehand was as light as tyrions armour and although it looked nice it was a little overpowering. I washed it with purple to tone it down which gave it a more subtle feel which I preferred . Looks a little flat now looking at the pics so maybe pickig out a few areas would help it??

@chrismisterx Thanking you kindly and yes the slann is much better in the flesh..damn me and my photography challenges (Ishall overcome.......grrrrrr..)

@orkydave....I really need to try to get better pics of that Kyrus model it really is gorgeous in the flesh I\'ve totally killed it with the photography.

@all thanks for the comments and keep em coming. more stuff on its way..
Lots more .........
