You have no idea how much it pains me to say that I'm going to have to go with the priest.

Stripped off my old Nurgle lord and have ordered the Priest just in case. Looking forward to joining this one which ever comes out on top both are great minis.

Ok so the only replies from the Aenur lot were for the priest so its the priest but you know what I think we have some contenders clearly here for other comps. So here is the plan.

1. Buy the mini Ive checked the UK GW website and its available or and probably better as it'll be metal most likely rather than finecrap eBay they keep popping up on there and generaly cheaper than GW online store. Say two or three weeks to get it.

2.Then we will post a new thread the priest painting for giggles thread and get people to sign up and then we rock on. So looking at the end of July ish; which should give time to finish personal projects etc.

Can't wait to finish the project I haven't even begun to get started on this one!!! Never bought anything on EBay though, so I'll probably have to pick up a finecast sculpt at the local store, last minute. Ugh. When is GW switching back to plastic?

Never! Apparently forgeworld are taking over the production of the hero/lord/command figures and you will be able to buy them in GW stores; rank and file will be GW. Why no buying on eBay??? less than half the price and usually metal so cheaper and better sometimes you have to soak them in Detol to get the paint off but so what? Tell you mate the kids throw their minis away for nothing on ebay when they get bored of em. Never paid full price for GW mini in years and years. Got that orc shaman mini for 99p! The priest we're painting next ive seen go for £2.50 plus postage. PayPal covers you so you dont get screwed over. Its a must IMHO

Honestly, just never tried. It intimidates me a bit, for one. Do I have to bid or can I just buy it straight up or how the hell does that work? Lol...I realize that this is a lame excuse. I should really figure this out.
But can I use debit? PayPal is screwed for me. My address has changed so much recently from Iraq to Afghanistan to Washington, to Mars that they flagged me or something. Now they want proof of my photo ID and then something else. I just remember dealing with it when in Dubai and it was a lost cause...

Regarding FW. That's cool, GW will have some good elites then. But what does this mean for FW as an entity? Will they continue their own independent stuff? I recently emailed them asking if they were going to continue the Throne of Tamurkhan series-which is the best thing to happen to Fantasy in a long time-and they said they had to shelve it indefinitely. Probably because of their new role with GW. This would break my heart.

Hmm that's a tuffy er Mum and dad address maybe? thats what i used to do back in the day or a mates address dunno really. Send em an email explaining the situation there must be loads of armed forces personnel that are in the same situation so they must have a solution. Yep you can pay for stuff on debit credit card; oh I know you can buy pre paid paypal cards they treat it like a credit card the wife bought one for me a year or two ago I think that would be your solution also you dont have to bid if you dont want you can just go to the buy it now ones what you see price wise is what you get though it tends not to be such a bargain. Still be a good bit cheaper than GW on the whole.

Ahh ok. I'll do this then. If they take debit then screw PP. I can't give an alternate billing address to the account I have on file. I'm sure it could be resolved with a call to their customer service. I'm just incredibly lazy with stuff like that. But I'll tell you what, I will buy the priest from EBay, just so I can be a part of the 21st century. BTW Andy, what do you do with your completed minis?
