Is one ever truly done prepping a finecast figure?

Already love your interpretation , 10 Ball. Can't help but notice that you cut off his Sigmarite brand from his forehead-the twin-tailed comet. Was thinking of doing this myself. Did you just file it away? Already intimidated by all of the character in his face. Thinkin this competition may be out of my league

You guys are lucky you still hàd any bubbles to fix... First Striking Scorpion box I ordered (to have them stomped by the Contemptor) had a whole miniature missing! And not like it was cut out or something, the sprues just ended in round little ends with no model to be held by them...

Sorry guys I am out for this one... Not much time and difficulty to find the mini on time (I started a bit late to be honest), not so keen to work on a finecast model and I have so many things on my plate. But I will follow closely the progress! I will try to join the next one!

How to make that bloody Sigmarite comet look like it's not a tumor???!!! Think I'm with Ten on this one. Shave it off, maybe replace it with a more same tattoo. My warrior priest is not such a zealot.

I'm going to paint it purple, I think - kinda like a weird birthmark

Andy I think he needs more mid tones on the skin, the shading is deep and jumps to the highlights.

More paint splash on last night, its amazing how much work you can get done squeezing in an hour of painting here & there.

Lovely job there mate nice bright old school meets nmm love it! One thing though why didn't you paint his feet at the same time? Gonna go a different metal or something?

Your right about the midtone I've added a bit more but not as much as I think you'd like; two reasons, one is that he's going to be in a dungeon lit by torches so the contrast is going to be high. Second I think my style is actually starting to settle in at last over the last few minis. I'm more into the Skelletets school of painting I think with the dark gothic grungy look. Then again maybe not we'll see

Its just a belt that needs painting
