Ok, I couldn't find when we were supposed to have these done by. I've had a nasty couple weeks, and lost fine motor control again. Need to have a rest period to get it back, and need to know when the deadline is so I can be finished.

GOOD lost a couple of weekend's painting time due to work and other things, but time off this week and the brushes are out for Euro.

Do you mind. Anglo-Saxon indeed, complete mixed bag here, bits of Welsh, Irish, Scots, Portuguese(?), Jewish in my family tree.
OH and a bunch of lawbreakers in there as well.
Yeah it was a bit Sketchy, especially given the current level of historical abuse prosecutions and investigations going on over here.

Going back to painting, I've managed to do the hardest piece of freehand I've ever done, a plaid shirt on a bust. It's taken me nearly three hours and I have a dull headache now because of it.

You have my sympathy. I did a plaid shirt once for fun on an old school gobo from space crusade. It wasn't as much "fun" as I thought. I was seeing that pattern for weeks afterward

After Euro I have another piece for him but that is a tricky one, the first incarnation of that well I think the most politest thing I can say about it is that I F@cked it up. Concrete Garage floor, 36 inch drop and Cork bark construction not a good mix.

And it's been done before....Always kinda figured that while we have the mini exchange (currently in its 37th incarnation) exchanging painted figures is something a bit more "Special" akin to an adoption.

After Milosh's piece, I have a promise to do a figure for crystell33 as well as a surprise present for a friend in Paulsbo who is the Author/Artist of www.groovykinda.org and a special thank you figure for Kevin Hearne the Author of the Iron Druid series of books and serious Memnoth player.

Finally have some time to start and the cast is horrible :-( oh well do my best to fix it but not sure there is much I can do to save this. Had to cover most of it in liquid green stuff so I can sand it back and hopefully smooth it out a little. It's so rough.
