Thanks Gandalf! The bases are just cork. Bought a sheet at the local railway model store, didn't cost much and probably enough for a hundred bases. Easy, cheap and looks great.

The last picture gave me an impression that they are all ready to just all out kick some ass but they are unsure where the ass is, lol. Looks great as always Oist. Going to vote now.

Just voted for the WoK contest stuff, then I remembered I wanted your opinion on an upcoming Dark Age release. Did you see the Saint John riding a robot griffin? Things looks amazing

Seen it, Flu. All the saints get similar creatures, they look amazing indeed! In my opinion, the Dark Age sculpts just gets better and better (unfortunately at the cost of more fiddly bits, but what can you do).

Whenever I finish a project, I'm usually left with one out of two feelings - either, 'meh, painting' which usually results in me doing something else - prepping, making terrain, or something completely different. Other times, it's more like 'oh boy oh boy oh boy I want to paint more NOW' and I usually have a pretty clear idea of what I want to paint. Got that feeling now with the Ashmen and I wanted to continue with my Nasier, but, of course, they haven't been properly prepped.

Also, this came in the way...

I'm not going to paint these, however. Someone else is. :)

Oh wow, if they all get giant mounts I can't wait to see what Saint Luke gets. He's my favorite saint already.

Are those all Malifaux minis? I know the metal ones look like Death Marshals but I don't recognize the plastic ones.

I am really looking forward to see what you going to do with that Griffin, this the perfect mini for me for an entry.

Luke gets a bull. Mary has an unicorn, Mark a dragon and Johann a scorpion. Though Johann will probably not be riding his.

And yes, those are all Malifaux. Sonnia Creed crew, plus extra Witchlings and Executioners. The Executioners were hell to assemble, but they are truly spectacular... They'll be even more so painted.

Oist, thanks for the info. A bull for Luke sounds totally appropriate and awesome. And those cloaked guys in Sonnia's crew look really cool. I was thinking about getting the Old Hag box and painting that up but those guys are really appealing to me, I may get a Sonnia box instead. I can't wait to see what you do with them, may steal some ideas, haha. Any new intuitive bases? I'm still marveling at those chip board bases, that was really neat idea.

Ter, that griffin is perfect for you? Well, I want Saint Luke and his bull, so, whenever those two minis are released I say we paint them up and enter them at the next available Crystal Brush. The challenge has been laid. The Slayer Sword winner versus the novice. What do you say? lol

The circuit board bases are really great.

(I am officially kicking myself in the butt for not pulling the boards from the computers I replaced at my store)

flu: I took the chipboard idea from Massive Voodoo - I modded it some, but the concept is theirs. And I won't be painting the Malifaux minis, they are in a box and on their way across the Atlantic now - you'll be seeing them again in not too long. ;)

I concentrating on Wrath of Kings myself, have started on some Nasier specialists, pics will come once I have a bit more progress.

Canny: The plastics are great indeed, despite the fiddly bits. Though, they are a bit of a sore for me - I got no less than four crews in December, and haven't as much as primed a single mini, nor have I played a single game. I'm hoping to correct that in not too long, but at the moment, other games and minis take presendence.

Tero: There isn't a release date for the new DA saints, but I'm hoping for a GenCon release.
