Happy New Year, guys! Yes, I am alive, and yes, I am well - thing is simply that computer time and painting time is the same time, so I've simply fallen out of the CMoN habit. However, I am painting - a lot, as a matter of fact - and I have been keeping in touch with Mally, Sicks, DarthMarsh and some of the other guys through our little CMoWhat-corner.

Very impressive Facebook page....let me be the first to say ,from looking at that amount of painted models, you are no stranger to work...as a matter of fact that amount at that level makes you one of the hardest working Vikings in this business of commissioning models!!! W o w

Thanks guys - BAM, I actualkly retired from commissions. It doesn't get me any real income, and it keeps me from painting my own stuff and applying to proper paying jobs. Digga, do I hate you? I did not get that memo. Flu, Facebook wants me to pay to reach all of my followers so only a few get it every time. I share my posts on my personal account as well as I in some groups, but that won't help for reaching people who only follow the page. Think the posts reach 10-20% only.

A little about what I am up to...
Busy times! Between moving, new jobs, courses, travelling, kids... I actually do get a little hobby done from time to time. I'll do a quick recap on my latest projects.
I'm currently painting my Conan boardgame, was aiming for a fast and simple tabletop standard, but instead it ended up being an above average tabletop standard... and thus I'm waaaaay behidn schedule. I'm currently nearing the end, if I remember correctly I have 96 minis done and ten to go. This is the latest finished batch, Belit's guards:

I've started (barely) on the next four, which is Conan and friends:

Over the Easter weekend, I went to Denmark and attended Sproket's contrast class. In those two days, I painted this little guy:

I've also thrown a lot of hours into this huge thing lately. The outside is done, still working on the inside:

What's next? Recently I realized that I've made several promises to several people, so it is time to put other things on hold and try to do the things I've promised to do. No deadlines make me a slacker, but I have four tasks I need to finish. None of them should take all that long, and I'll tell you about them in a later post. Adding a fifth promise: I'll try to post a little more often. It is for my own good, too.

What is the Conan game? I have the out-of-print Fantasy Flight game, but not whatever you're painting. I've seen some different Conan stuff in the last several months, but I'm not sure what you've got. Since I love Conan & Robert E. Howard... is this something I need to buy?

It is rather new, came off Kickstarter about six months ago. It is actually a very good game, particularly now that they've improved the rulebook (the rules were always good, just hard to learn them from the book). Lots of good minis (and some not as good). All in all, I recommend it, particularly if you are a Howard fan.
