I don\'t think it really matters which e-bay account its under, as long as the money is paid over to the charity. (And of course as long as someone buys it :D)

I\'m just glad to see it up and running

Greetings girlie :D

Yes I agree however....... my comment was in relation to a CMON account - the army was painted by lots of people so therefore the scores it achieves should be on a generic account for the army and not any single persons.

Glad to see my blonde brain cells are still working then :D Didn\'t actually realise it was also on a CMON account - still catching up on the votes here. I\'m happy that my little gnobblar is in my account anyway, good luck to anyone who manages to get a better score with him in the picture lol

Army Auction/CMON account/rankings

Here\'s a thought...how about we all do this (and in the end it won\'t make a whoopty-do for anyone\'s scores/ranks/ego, etc. regardless):

1. Go to the Paint Aid auction, pick and download a photo.
2. Put that bad boy in your CMON account.
3. This is the important part...feature the auction!
4. When the auction is over, everyone takes the pic out of their gallery.

This way when the featured auction is shown on the various sites, it gets that much more exposure (which was the idea in the first place) and when it\'s all said and done it\'s out of the galleries and not effecting anyones rank (once again, part of the original plan...)

Thanks

I\'m resizing the pictures and listing who\'s got what in which picture so that it doesn\'t end up as being about ego\'s as it was once criticised for being. :D
Should get that finished and posted up on Monday 29th.

@DR email me and it shall be cut from our galleries. I found the assumption it would stay in galleries a shock but I am naive. I giggled cause most eBay auctions get snipped heavily I saw it as a draw back in rank but could have given a crap.
@Red Dawn and Grumb thank you very much

Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates are going to get into a bidding war over it on the last day, and it is going to sell for $1,345,900.01. I am pretty sure that\'s what is going to happen, but sometimes I make bad calls. :D:D

Yeah, i heard \"the donald\" was gunna pick up this army and feature a reality TV show around them, then one by one fire them before actually hireing them.

$9,643.55USD is my vote for how much it\'ll go for.

And Tracy, i\'m in for helping to pay the fees too.

As for Oprah and Bill gates bidding, I highly doubt it, however I have heard that both Robin Williams and Bill Crystal are Warhammer players (40K actually), but it would be nice if some real Hollywood celebs acually step in and bid.

@Tracy (TAB) - I am a bit confused with the whole fee thing. What I understood is that we were donating 100% of the profit to the Red Cross, profit being after all fees were paid. I think it is entirely resonable that the fees for posting and selling this army be deducted before the donation. I hope this is possible, and that I am not off base for suggesting that we do it like this.

Is this being pimped at the eye of terror yet? I\'m sure most of the people posting there are kids, but it would still be exposure.

It would be great but too easy Doug :D
if you click the link to Missionfish it points out that seller are responsible for the fees but if you choose 100 percent that is what you pay them 100 percent, fees are your dealings as the seller.

132 Watchers on the auction 1300 visitors

Thanks DF you are right every little bit helps, thinks that sums up how this all started also :D

TAB\'s Fees

If enough of us get together and send TAB a yuppie food stamp ($20) via her paypal to her email, this will become a moot point very quickly.

Tracy - my only question is when do you want us to start sending them your way? I assume the extra would go to the red cross (if on the off chance we got carried away.)

Well...Since pay pal is instant for most matters... I think we can wait to see what the auction goes for... knowing the number will allow people to donate what they can afford to help. Sound reasonable???

Well Tracy even when doing something good, it looks like you can\'t escape the corporate BS. I was amused that Mission Fish also gets a cut, oh well, should have expected that right?

Anyways...count me in on the $20 Yuppie Food Stamp donation, glad to help in any way I can. Please contact me when it is all finished and I will send money via your Paypal account.

Over here they get refered to as BDV\'s, (blue, or brown drinking vouchers) and Yes I\'m in to help out with TAB\'s fees.
It\'s something I didn\'t think of either when looking at trying to get the listing put up.
