Haven\'t done one of these threads in awhile.
Pic of my little chamber. Where are the minis? (only two in this shot, using the blue cups on the left for a cover save vs. dust)

Alright I am giving in!

Little explanation, I am fortunate enough to have a large enough dorm room all to myself so I\'ve basically got it filled to the brim with minis.

Work space, or lack there of:

Couple of shelves, i really need to get more:

Last but not least, what was once a floor...I think. I\'ve actually thought about cleaning it up but am afraid of what I will find lol:

And since I was taking pictures of my mess today, figured I\'d show you guys this one:
P1000959.jpg

They were born yesterday! Story behind it is that myself and a couple of the girls from next door over took in this stray female cat a few months ago, we would feed her and just let her stay in from the cold. We knew she was pregnant, but didn\'t seem large enough to be due anytime soon, plus we weren\'t sure of what the gestation period of cats was. So yesterday, she popped out four of them, yes in my room. Hehe. I have decided to keep them till they are old enough to give away.

Note: Anyone in the Massachusetts or Connecticut area that wants a cat, I will be giving them away in about 6 to 8 weeks, PM me!

Mr Scream, your collection makes me feel inadequate ;)

Dark Star, I like the paint coaster...where\'d you get it?

Ngartstudios, I\'m in southern NH and am tempted about the kittens (or one, at least)...we lost a cat last summer and my 4-year old has been clamoring for another. But we decided we\'d wait for a huge Maine Coon male (that is affordable...kittens go for about a grand)...those have similar stripes but do you know if the mother has any Maine Coon?

That\'s just the beginning. My primary geek source is video games actually. I own over 600 games on 45 different systems.

Odyssey, Atari 2600 (x3), Atari 7800, Nes (x2), Sega Master System, Sega Genesis (or Megadrive for my Limey friends) (x3), Super Nintendo (modded), Turbo Grafx 16, Playstation, Playstation 2 (modded), Sega Saturn (modded), Sega Dreamcast (modded), Xbox, Xbox 360 (x2), Gamecube, N64, Wii, Gameboy (every version), DS, PSP, GP2X (anyone hear of that?) Neo Geo CD, Neo Geo Pocket Color, Wonderswan, Panazonic 3DO, and about a half dozen more obscure ones I can\'t remember the names of atm.

I feel utterly compelled to ask...what are those white things that look like showerheads that you are using to hold minis?

That\'s exactly what they are, small $5 showerheads from the local grocery. An American nickel is perfectly sized to have a nice flat top (where the showerhead normally screws into the piping). now I\'ve got a big flat base for setting the mini down, and the top angles around for easier access to annoying spots.

oh, and here\'s my favorite minis:

The multi-tier one I bought online, Thewarstore I believe. Overpriced but I love it so I guess it\'s worth it.

The small one tier one I got at walmart here for about 2 bucks I think it\'s a spice caddy, lazy-susan type of deal.

Micromark.com has similar tiered organizers which I will undoubtedly someday purchase but for now shall just dream.

I don\'t think there are enough organizers and bins in the world to keep a mini painter from being a mess!

Here\'s my studio / workspace (I have to share the storage space with my better half). I\'ve just finnished building the spray booth. I have 3 work areas as you can see, the spray booth, an area for modeling and a painting area.

It stretches to out the window and then folds back up for storage. I\'m making an attachment for it to turn it from it\'s normal opening to a long thin one so the window doesn\'t have to be open as wide.

Does that make any sense? ???

Ronin you have just inspired me to move my painting area.

Seeing all that stuff packed into such a small area done well makes me think I can move my painting area from the dingy basement, up into my computer room which currently just has 2 desks 2 bookshelves and my PC in it.

I will try to remember to get before and after pics ;)

Ok, you lot have driven me to it.
I\'ve given in and bought some organisation equipment.
After Salute I\'ll try to do some before and after shots, but I\'m not promising as there are some people on here of a nervous disposition.:Dlol

It\'d mean having to tidy up and I\'d never be able to find anything again.lol

Don\'t believe him folks, I\'ve seen his workspace and it was spotless.
Hang on, you didn\'t tidy up for us coming did you Mike? Wait, you did didn\'t you? Bless... lol

It took me a long time, I thought I was getting on quite well and then there was the floods here in Englund so everything had to go on hold for a year :flame: I still have some bits left to do but at least its functional now. I think I might have some before pictures somewhere if I dig them out I\'ll put them up.
