Eric, your Ren is what Tyler looked like back when she was that age. That\'s about the age she was when she adopted me. She\'s now pushing nearly 20 llbs. lol And, of course, she\'s horribly spoiled.

I agree, though, they are gorgeous animals. Depending how the light is falling on them they can look anywhere from almost white to coal black.

Shawn, I gotta tell you, Gato looks like that sometimes, last night especially, and I have the scratches as proof. She does NOT like getting her belly brushed, but it has to happen.

she\'s just woken up now, and keeps prodding me with her nose to let her out.
Oh well probably a good time to go to bed anyhow

Do you remember \'Moog\' from \"Willo the Wisp\" Circa 1981.
Because that\'s who she reminds me of, big soft and lovable, but with no brain. (Thats\' in the cartoon of course)

I love the pics and I love the names:
Naming a cat for Genghis Khanlol
And Finn, did that Dachsund have flatulence problems? \"Pedo\" is the Spanish equivalent of \"fart.\"

Gin, I\'m glad you were able to get your doggie back on his feet. My cat recently underwent a major sinus surgery and spent about a month being force-fed from a syringe. Hey, they are part of the family. If they can get back their quality of life we owe it to them.

Now if someone will show me where I can post a moving picture, I\'ll show you something to amaze you.

My mum had him as a pup just before I was born and he died when I was 10. My understanding was his name was \'Peter\' but my juvenile pronunciation was \'pedo\'....The truth is probably lost in the past...

my bits

These guys are banned from the painting room, but I often take breaks to sit on the floor and play with them. Madly entertaining creatures.

Dauber, when I first saw your and Eric\'s cats I thought they might be Russian Blue\'s, like my first cat M.G. But, if they go from white to black then they can\'t be. When M.G. was younger she truly looked blue-grey in the sunlight. She was gorgeous! She and Scott (Grumb) became friends only after she put a 10-inch scar down his arm and let him know that I belonged to her! When we were sitting on my couch she would actually squeeze herself between us and if Scott tried to put his hand on my knee or leg she\'d bite him. It was hilarious! They got used to each other after a couple of weeks (and he\'d play rough with her and I wouldn\'t). We had her for about 7 years then had to put her to sleep because she got sick. It was one of the hardest things we\'ve ever done. She was truly the queen of our household and wherever Scott wanted to sit or something to read - that was her throne!:D

I have to see if I can upload pics of my sisters two cats after I get home today or tomorrow. One is 16 pounds and looks like a bowling ball...the other is 22 pounds and looks like he can take out most of the dogs in the neighborhood.

The smaller (relatively speaking) cat is the real pain for my paints...and food...and everything else. I tried making a drying station for resin models once with a box and screens...found out that her hair is fine enough to go through the finest mesh I could find cheap at the hardware store.

No picture right now, but I have a cat I named \"Shaok\" after a friend... which is a male name... Because the animal shelter said it was a male... But she\'s a... she... She\'s pretty much one of those Tuxedo Cats... 6 months old but could pass for a cat half that age because she\'s so tiny (She was sick when we she was little and I think it stunted her growth...). She\'s probably the most viscious pet I\'ve ever had... This morning she attacked my lips for some ungodly reason and I was bleeding quite freely... I still love her though... Even though she\'s also very hyper... (Well whenever I\'m home I guess, as soon as I leave my family says she calms down)

O.K. - this is a shameless attempt to up my posts, but I have been wondering what people have pets, what they are, or if you could have a pet what it would be. Also, who looks like their pet? I vote that Alexi has an Afghan Hound? (And for anyone who hasn\'t seen an Afghan Hound, I think they\'re beautiful with long, gorgeous fur.) If you haven\'t seen Alexi\'s pic on the PYP thread then just go to the last page - and be sure to wear a bib if you\'re male....<sigh>

Anyway, we (Grumb and I) have a dog - golden retriever/spaniel mix, with red hair like me, and two cats, Thor - BIG orange/cream tabby, and Loki - grey/black tabby. We\'d have a zoo except for two things - I\'ve realized I don\'t like to clean up after all these animals AND Loki is a class-A, #1 hunter. Anything smaller than him we bring into the house he will find a way to get it. Actually, he\'s taken out a few things bigger than him.

Thor, Loki, and Samantha (or Mantha for short)

We pulled those awful vertical blinds down and before I could get them out the door the cats laid down on them and wouldn\'t get off!

Okay, I posted out my dog to you (re. Post Your Pet), but it came back yesterday with bits hanging off it and it smelled terrible. I\'m assuming the dog probably got mangled on the way through the sorting machines at the PO and I imagine the shock killed it (if the incredible mangling didn\'t). As I was only following your wishes on this thread, it is to you that I look for compensation, both for the death of my dog and bail for getting me out of prison.

Good day.
