first off, I wouldn\'t make a comment like that without some sort of proof, and as soon as Tiff can figure out what\'s wrong with photobucket, I will post it for you guys to see.

Sorry to bring you into a \"put up or shut up\" situation, but I really wanna see it and make up my own mind.

As for the Dread, I neither like it nor think it\'s \"pro\"-painted, unless you apply ebay ideas - then it becomes pro-painted in seconds ;) That\'s no reason to give up though, with a little more practice you will become better - at least that\'s what I\'m telling despite all the evidence :D

It\'s a stupid thing to accuse anyone of anyway, as it\'s so difficult to prove.
Just ask people who have seen in real life the art of the person wich you have a doubt on. A lot of CMONers don\'t hesitate to travel abroad and meet up.

@Alexi_Z : Why should he be frightened? This has already been discussed. I had serious doubts when I saw your entries a year ago in France. Don\'t get me wrong, you are talented, but in real life they didn\'t have the wow effect they later had on CMON. I saw your art again at the UK GD of this year and the pictures later posted seemed more ressemblant to what I had in mind. Nice to see you\'re using less that Wacom pen and board you\'ve got on your site ;).

This isn\'t meant as an incitement to another slanging match Natalya, but that was exactly my point to you in our discussion a while back :)

What are you talking about?

Some people prefer white instead of black primer.

I suppose it would be easy for a Photoshop expert to spot......

...and I couldn\'t from the evidence presented.

My point then, as it is here, is that unless someone has real proof that something like this is being done, then it just makes the person making the accusation look like an arse!

I agree. You were very harsh. This is coming form me. :wow:

I remember when you first came here and you pretty much told me that I didn\'t know what I was talking about on one subject.Nevermind that I have been doing this for a lot longer than you and I was giving information from a back issue of Harbinger.lol

@SaxonAngel : Although I\'ve never sold anything on eBay, I fully understand what you call the \"bashing\" that people have been doing here (and I stand by that 4.5 I gave) for two reasons :

1. Suppose your a collectioner, how can you do a quick search on eBay if everybody is putting \"pro painted\"in their description?

2. Art is a subjectif domain. OK most minis at a Grand Tournament will look like this, but this is not my idea of table top quality. Saying that, I have no problem with somebody else saying it is. But when somebody says they\'re doing some pro paint job, I\'d expect at least an 8/10 rating here.

I admit that some reactions are clearly harsh in this thread, but I think that revaluating Recoil889 claims was necessary, and if he/she does what I suggested above, he/she should improve and sell at a better price.

My 2 euro cents :).

i admitted i was too harsh in my first posts :innocent: shame on meeeeeeee lol
