Hmmm, it is kind of interesting how people trying not to conform end up conforming anyway.
Its like when I go to a rock club and everyone is wearing black, I mean where is the individuality in that? ???
My friends went to a goth/industrial night once in tie die neon t-shirts and jeans with trainers and shades, it was hilarious, especially watching the goths trying to work out WTF we were doing (we clearly knew all the music, but we were
HAPPY! What was all that about?)
Another friend was being hasselled by some kids in town for being goth, he turned round to them and said \"I\'m not goth, I\'m F***ING industrial\" Well it was funny at the time...
I find I never quite fit in (at school I was the token rocker in a year of Goths), but I\'m pretty good at social sidewinding and fitting in in my own odd way.
