Cassar's concisely nailed it for me. Saucy postcard, of the more explicit variety, which always seem to raise a chuckle or an eyebrow, without much room inbetween

Oddly it's the same reason I'm not keen on the other "controversial" piece doing the rounds at the mo, a touch too much cheesecake frivolity to my initial reading to feel comfortable upon realising the wider intent. I think this is a more succesful piece than that but would have prefered to see Sophie proffering her rear to Santa, with him looking down a little, than the current arrangement. We'd have been able to see both of their faces from the "front" of the scene that way too.
I think Father Christmas's face is one of the nicest you've done Meg, particularly good to see you able to do nice eyes without those huge Klocke ones that take up most of the face

Has the teddy just got black buttons for eyes? A touch of green might have sat nicely?
Anyhow, rather like Beelzebrush, not my cup of tea but a skillfully produced piece & I'm all for seeing as wide a range of work as possible. Interesting to hear about the level of Ebay interest. I'd far rather see you painting this kind of thing in the Gallery than a couple of other sellers who churn this stuff out to a far lower level, on far nastier miniatures, anyday
Cheers, B.
