I\'m awfully sorry to say, but it\'s a fact, not an accusation. The whole copying of GW parts, etc.
Don\'t want to steer this thread off topic, so I\'ll just apologise to people who might be offended by what I posted. I suppose I\'m too used to Frothers.
Edit: And the whole Scibor thing just gets my goat, I\'m not normally this much of a goon.

Holy cats, the Frothers forums really get quite um, blunt don\'t they? And they sure don\'t hide their feelings about SciborDon\'t sugarcoat the pill, guys lol
Exactly. You want ALL things to look good, not only the armour plates, shields and capes. I know the man can sculpt if he puts effort into it. But some of the conversions seem very hastily put together and only the machine-made parts look good. The hand-sculpted parts look rushed and not very good and there\'s finger prints and moldlines on the plastic parts in hard to reach spots.Originally posted by StarFyre
I understand that point, however....if I am spending money..i want it to look good.
Reputedly; bearing in mind your following comment.Originally posted by Prophet
On the upside, he is sculpting his own heads now.
Agreed.Originally posted by Prophet
One of the main problems with his conversions/sculpts is there is a huge discrepancy between the quality of what is molded and what he has sculpted himself. His reliance on the molds has retarded his improvement.
Yeah, those two are the things that made me scratch my head when he was in the spotlight a while back. But hey, if that\'s what the market will buy (for inflated prices) that\'s their problem.Originally posted by Ritual

Well actually my first issue was with the sloppy workmanship in certain areas (this is a detail-oriented hobby after all, so the standard of finish should be consistent IMO). Mould lines - really obvious ones - left on plastic parts?Originally posted by marcineczek0
IMO everyone that badmouth Scibor are just jealous of his technique (machines) and all the money he gets from the minis.
