nope, i\'d never seen it before... but in my mind\'s eye i saw a little (think goblin sized) squrrel with a HUGE rocket launcher (probably stollen from a space marine). But how to pose the squrrel???

Anywho, so which angel sketch are we doing and which part of it am i doing and what scale will it be, and... and... and... *head explodes*lol

I can\'t find the mini right now but I think it actually is about the size of a goblin.

Oh, that rocketlauncher. Well, on it\'s shoulder with some extra padding to fill the gap and some branches to support it? :)

Is anybody working on the sketch? Just want to check that it\'s not that everybody is waiting thinking somebody else is doing it. :)

(I don\'t have time myself this weekend by the way)

me and pencils and paper don\'t get along very well... and then the blood starts flowing, somebody else better handle the 2D goodness of this projectlol

Here\'s one (sorry it took so long, work was hell this week and I had to go Christmas shopping today) :
CyberAngelSketch003.jpg

I tried to put in different levels of difficulty for everyone. The ribbon is a crappy idea to lessen the strain on her right leg. If somebody comes up with something else, I\'m taking it. I\'d like to keep the running stance though.

Don\'t hesitate to say if there is something that you don\'t like. If everybody validates it, I\'ll post a version with metrics on it.

If I\'m not mistaken, these should be the main tasks (took most of Ming-Hua\'s list) :
1. making, posing the armature and freezing the joints.
2. weapons
3. fleshing out the visible muscles
4. shoes
5. trousers
6. torso
7. head
8. mechanical right arm and left arm
9. wing back piece
10. wings (two piece IMO)
11. equipment (pouches, etc, ...)

Who\'s up for what? We might slide people arround depending on geography so do give at least 2 choises.

(quick notes, I\'m in the middle of putting a present packaging together - sinterklaas suprise if you know Dutch traditions).

Cool, good drawing. What is that rope hanging on the leg? With cut off trousers I actually cut mid thigh. But this is better as we can strengthen the leg she stands on (better use stiff wire in the armature). We can keep your cape and long jacket, somebody here was asking for flowing drapery. :) Seburo trigger is at the mid grip, not front grip. :D

As to what I want to do: preference is weapons. Or else, anything you want to throw my way.]

Bye and thanks for making the drawing.

Thanks Ming-Hua :).

The \"rope\" was supposed to be a ribbon to strengthen the pose, but if you want to keep the long jacket (I\'m not convinced by the cape in that position) it could be used for that too.

For the Seburo, I saw that after finishing the gun (classic ;)). Since you want to do the weapons, you\'re chief on how they look ;).

I was born in Groningen (only stayed 2 years there) so I can guess about the sinterklaas surpise tradition ;).

(taking a break of bending wire puzzles from bicycle spokes. - Hey, where did that cut come from? :) )

Again quick notes,
- I think you forgot the base in your task breakdown. How about putting shoes and trousers together in one group and adding the base?
- resting on a part of th coat? Possible. Or the wing.

Is a base necessary for that pose?

I\'ll redo the drawing with the coat.

Perfect sketch.

Nope base isn\'t necessary, I saw the base as a seperate thing anyway, not really dependant upon the figure.

I\'m up for pouches, straps and things like wrist mounted computer, and maybe the bionic arm, whatever needs doing.

I though we were going to have a bionic eye, or HUD?

Well I\'m still gonna do a base :p

Just don\'t let it affect the mini...

I think Tuubje wanted to help with it, but he\'s not been around for a while.

OK, I\'ll put in a HUD :).

The base could be an option. I think it would have been great if the mini had been in that \"leaning over the building\" position. But the running one is more versatile IMHO.

For the overview:

Name Country - Part/alternative part

1.Medved - UK -
2.green stuff - France -
3.Spacemunkie - UK -
4.minimaker - Netherlands - weapons/whatever
5.t_haye2 - UK -
6.Orb - UK -
7.Trevor - Australia - equipment (cybernetic bits and pieces)/arms
8.Tuubje - Belgium -
9.Itchy - US -
10.waxfive - UK -
11.Xavier - US -

By the way, the second gun, is that a pistol (will look better than two assault guns I think). What I intend to do is to design a combination of a bullpup rifle I made before and the Seburo style.

Here she is with the coat and HUD :
CyberAngelSketch004.jpg

They where supposed to be 2 Seburo guns, but a pistol could be cool.

I put the HUD on her right eye to keep the eyebrow piercing on the left visible.

If nobody wants to do them, I could tackle the armature or the wings.

Quick tip for the person who will be making the wings. Here is a way that can help to keep the wing \"feathers\" regular:

patternmaking.jpg

Works best on a Milliput/GS mix.

Sorry for the picture quality.

While I\'m at it:
1.Medved - UK -
2.green stuff - France - armature/wings
3.Spacemunkie - UK -
4.minimaker - Netherlands - weapons/wings (center or wings)
5.t_haye2 - UK -
6.Orb - UK -
7.Trevor - Australia - equipment (cybernetic bits and pieces)/arms
8.Tuubje - Belgium -
9.Itchy - US -
10.waxfive - UK -
11.Xavier - US -
Ok, how about everybody else?

@Waxfive, I do know how good you are, I\'ve had a look at your greens. :)

Back on the drawing. I think we better be safe and give the left leg more support. Two suggestions, moving the hanging jacket so that the area that hits the ground is closer to that leg or by putting something underneath it.

pose_mod.jpg

One note, I shortened the jack in my sketches as it looked liek she would trip over them. :)

@waxfive : would the face or the wings suit you? I consider those to be the toughest (I might be mistaken ;)).

[edit]Well, I\'m off for about a week, so I\'m taking the armature task (since the general pose seems to fit everybody), that way it should be ready fo the next person on the list when I come back; assuming of course that everybody chooses a task by then ;)[/edit]

@green stuff: have a good holiday.

I\'ve chosen the weapon since I\'m still to write a tutorial on making detailed weapons (and I like the Seburo) and want to test a reproduction method. But if anybody else really wants to do it I can also go for wings (looking at the Roman Waxfive would be good for this), head or whatever. We have several good sculptors here so we should be able to deal with the tougher tasks.
